Are you interested in becoming a new Referee?

Referees are essential to the games!

If you are at least 13 years of age and interested in becoming a certified U.S. Soccer Referee you will take a series of online courses and participate in a field session. The field sessions are conducted throughout Northern Michigan. Those 18 years and older are required to have a background check conducted through U.S. Soccer Learning. The cost of the background check is $30 and is good for 2 years.

The cost is $67.50 for the course and as little as $45.95 for a referee kit. The background check is $30 and is good for 2 years.

BSC is willing to assist in clinic fees and/or uniform purchases!

Certified referees are paid for each game they officiate, depending on position and age group.
